Quadnet advises public sector on energy efficient IT solutions

Quadnet, in conjunction with partner Probrand, has written a document on energy efficient IT strategy and it’s benefits for OGC’s magazine, distributed to Government departments nationwide. 

Written by our specialised consultants, this document outlines the key topics around the issue and the benefits to implementing various technologies which can help achieve saving of up to £500K and also reduce your carbon footprint. 

The article is due to be published in December, and will go some way to help the Government understand the issue surrounding energy efficient, or “green IT” as it is also called. Recently Tom Watson MP has been tasked with reducing the carbon emissions across the public sector, and with IT contributing up to 50% of all energy used within an organisation, the issue is more important than ever.
