History of Quadnet

Quadnet was established in 1996, starting out initially as IT Consultants, then moving into IT Network Services and Hardware & Software supply. Today we focus on specific technology areas such as Enterprise Servers & Storage Solutions.

Over the years we have built up an extremely loyal customer base, becoming a ‘one-stop-shop’ for our client’s IT requirements, in many cases being their preferred IT supplier.

Our people are one of our most important assets. Each member of our staff is highly trained in their own discipline. Our account managers are sales professionals with superior technical knowledge, not telesales people targeted to make 70 calls a day. We make time for our clients and take time to respond effectively and thoroughly, going further than most to achieve customer satisfaction.

The Management Team

Alan Tobias – Chairman

Alan Tobias OBE brings a wealth of experience and specialist skills to the role of Chairman to the Company. Alan is, by profession, a qualified Solicitor. He has an exceptionally strong track record in senior management, particularly in local government. He was for almost 12 years the Chief Executive of the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Before that he held the post of Solicitor to the Council and Borough Secretary of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. A former Chairman of Essex Probation Service and current Chairman of West Essex PCT, Alan’s remit is to challenge the business to work smarter and more efficient.

Zubair Aleem – Managing Director

As the founder of Quadnet Ltd, Zubair has put heart and soul into building the business. He started as an IT consultant working for companies like AYH and SmithKline Beecham Plc. After many successful years in consultancy, he established Quadnet Ltd to focus on solutions for businesses. His understanding of the IT market and the players has been critical to the success of Quadnet so far.

Anjum Aleem – Services Director

Co-founder Anj was an IT contractor for several years working for blue chip companies in the city. With IT accreditations and certifications from major manufacturers, Anj helped establish Quadnet Ltd with his brother Zubair. He is currently responsible for all IT consultancy, our services portfolio and key customer projects. Anj also manages Quadnet's internal IT operations.
