Dehabshiil

Dahabshiil is a money transferring organisation, head office in Hargeza Somalia with branches worldwide and are one of the fastest growing money transferring organisations at present currently employing over 2000 staff worldwide.

Reasons - hosted systems presently in US were causing the company issues with cost for expansion and greater flexibility offered by solutions of today which can take advantage of high availability, redundancy and DR. Current hosting company was based in the US where the companys presence was not that prevalent, the requirement was to move to either Canada or the UK. This move pre-empted our engagement to deal directly with the owner of the organisation Abdur Rashid who requested we work as an external consultant to engage with hosting companies to find the best company to host their systems.

Teach First

Teach first are one of the fastest growing and highly recognised charities in the UK and was successful in applting for funding from various organisations to include a whole new IT infrastructure to cater to thei rgrowing needs. Quadnet were instrumental in specifying and designing this solution to meet their current and futrure requirements with support in tandem with their internal IT staff. The designed solution included VMware, consolidated storage, wireless network, AV.

IPS run a 24 hour CCTV operation for crime and disorder giving protection and security to the citizens of Islington. The 24 hour operation that is run from 29 Old Street has been subject in the past to several power outages causing major disruption to services and cover provided. Quadnet were engaged initially to review and manage uptime on parking services and their systems. The coverage has been expanded to provide UPS cover to the whole IT infrastructure including CCTV crime and disorder.

The battery backup solution has been designed for 15 minutes runtime and will be combines with a 250KVA generator provided by UPS for automatic failover in the event of power failure.
