New telephone system helps charity increase income

"Quadnet's approach was refreshing.  They integrated easily in to the team and weren't afraid to go the extra mile to get the work done."

Sajid Hashmi, Chief Executive, Voluntary Action Stoke-on-Trent

Voluntary Action Stoke-on-Trent (VAST) supports the development of voluntary and community organisations in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. Part of the charity’s income is derived from renting space in the building it occupies to private companies.

Usage-based billing

VAST provides telephony to the private companies that rent space from it. The charity wanted to put in place a new telephone system that would it enable it to bill its tenants based on usage, creating more revenue.

At short notice Quadnet put forward a highly cost-competitive solution that met all VAST’s requirements including Voice over IP capabilities, integrated billing software and the ability to expand the solution, on demand, up to 250 users.

Zero percent finance

Quadnet also installed the system, phasing the implementation over a one week period to ensure no disruption to users, and trained VAST’s staff on the billing software. Quadnet’s solution included the negotiation a zero percent financing package with Avaya, the equipment supplier.

The solution was highly cost effective due to the competitive prices and zero percent financing Quadnet was able to negotiate

VAST can now generate additional revenue from offering telephone services

As the billing software is easy to use it saves time and reduces the chance of errors
